Error 82 The microkernel has lost its positioning

I'm getting this error whenever I try to connect to some databases via ODBC on a Netware server (6.5 SP5) with Pervasive 9.5. Netware client 4.91 SP4.

The same database works perfectly on a Win2003 server with pervasive 9.5.

I can connect to demodata on the netware server, and pervasive analyser reports no errors. I can also connect to other databases that have only a few tables. Any databases that have 200+ tables I can't connect to.

I suspect I need to modify mt BTI.CFG or PSRGSTRY.ini, but don't know where to start. Does anyone know where to find some documentation on modifying these files, or point me in the right direction?

Did you install the latest Hotfixes available in Download section? The actual version is 9.52.61 (since some days).

I had this problem before with older versions, but in the last month's  this problem did not appear anymore.
