    Does Function Executor connect?
    What version are you using?
Are the requester components in your PATH?

Thank you for the reply, I'm using 9.5, there is no connection in the pervasive monitor. How do I add the requester to my path?

    Thanks

I'm glad you''re not on V7 (the area where you entered your post).

In versio 9.5 by default, the splash screen does not display. If you want it to display, run PCC (Pervasive Control Center) and enable it in
    - Pervasive PSQL
    -- Local Client
    --- Microkernel Router
    ----- Properties
    ------ Appliation Characteristics

But alas that is probably not the real issue, not loading is the issue. If you installed the 9.5 client your PATH should already include your installation directory (c:\pvsw\bin by default).

Are you getting an error return code?
How are you testing your database?

Hmmm, a PSQL 173 is "Already logged in
A Btrieve login request failed because the client is already logged into the specified database."

Are you using the Btrieve Login operation?
Does PCC connect to your database or can you open one of the files with Function Executor?
Are you seeing the splash screen now?

I am not seeing the splash screen now. and it is not connecting to the database. Is there a way to force the requesters?

    We need more information.
What program are you using to connect to the database? What type of application is it... i.e. what Pervasive interface are you attempting to use?

Can you look for the following DLLS:

    W32mkde.exe
    Wbtrv32.dll
    Wbtrthnk.dll
    Wbtrcall.dll
    Wbtrvres.dll

If they exist, rename them, then try your application. These are older versions of the requesters and it's possible they are being called by your application. If they are not available, the current version should load.
