After upgrading to Windows 7 as well as P.SQL 10.10, I observe the following behavior in the PCC:

When attempting to view the Properties of a Table, or Edit a Table, PCC stops responding immediately. When I force a close on PCC, a very long, Java related message is displayed ...

JVM terminated. Exit code = -805306369...

C:\Windows\system32\javaw.exe .....etc etc.

Unfortnately I cannot cut and paste the entire message, and it is way too long and crappy to type in here.

I have tried running PCC in compatibility mode XP SP3 and SP2, and run as Administrator. Alas, I cannot get around this Java error.

Has anyone else seen this or managed to overcome the problem?

 If you start PCC, go to "Help" then "PCC Log".  It will display the PCC log.  Once the log opens, paste at least the first exception here.

Does this happen on all tables including those in DEMODATA?

How did you do your upgrade, and from what version of Pervasive?  I did an upgrade of Windows XP Professional to Windows 7 Professional.  I then upgraded v9.5 Workgroup Engine to v10.10.125 Workgroup Engine.  I could access table properties, edit tables, etc. 

Ive have the same problem.

Just upgrading from 8.70 to 9.50.
Its works fine on all Windows XP.
But on windows 7, this error come up in PCC.
I can open PCC, but then i trying to access to Microkernel Router, its froze down whit JVM terminated. Exit code =-805306369.
I can use pervasive, but its respons VERY slow on tables.
TCPIP test is working fine.

I have today tried to uninstall everything, but nothing help.
Maybe i should reinstall windows?

Does the same thing happen when you do properties on a table from Demodata?  Just a standard question to see if the DDFs might be the problem.

yes!

After 5 hours trying whit uninstall psql and all java, it still the same.
Even after clear up in regedit.

Then i try uninstall norton 360, and now its works allmost perfekt.
Now there about 3 sek delay, but from 60 sec to 3. Thats a lot

 What version of Norton 360 are you using?
