• Pervasive PSQL v10, Update 1 is now posted!

  We have published our first update (or FTF) for Pervasive PSQL Summit v10! This update (PSQL v10.01.053.000) provides the latest fixes for customers running 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Pervasive PSQL Summit v10 for Server, Workgroup, and Client. The update is available on pervasive.com by navigating to our Downloads page, Product Updates, Pervasive PSQL. It can also be downloaded via the following URL: http://ww2.pervasive.com/Database/MaintenanceReleases/Pages/PervasivePSQLv1001Patch.aspx We have a readme that lists all of the fixes and solutions provided in this update. • PSQL v10 Install Toolkit Handbook

  The latest edition of the Install Toolkit Handbook for PSQL v10 is now available via the Pervasive.com library or as a download for interested parties. The Install Toolkit Handbook allows developers to integrate the various Pervasive PSQL v10 installations into another install or package. Using the technology of Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI) the handbook provides developers with the necessary information and steps to meet their requirements and needs. • .NET provider for 64-bit

  I get asked about our .NET provider and support for 64-bit. Users many not realize that the current .NET provider (v3.0) available on our web site supports native 64-bit client connections to a 64-bit PSQL database. • A New Year’s message . . .

  With the start of the New Year, things are starting to pick up here at Pervasive. Our engineering team is busy working on the next release of Pervasive PSQL v10 for Linux and Windows Sever 2008. We are also adding 64-bit support for Pervasive PSQL Security Solutions, including Backup Agent and DataExchange. As you can see, things are already moving along in 2008! We ended 2007 with a very successful eight city museum tour across the US and Europe and had a wonderful time meeting with partners and press to discuss our latest release Pervasive PSQL Summit v10. As is customary around a new year, its resolution time, and mine is to blog more often, provide more insight into PSQL based projects and to visit and engage with our customer on a wide range of topics and technologies.
