Major highlights in PSQL v10 include a new 64-bit API for Btrieve and DTI, seamless support for Windows Vista™, 64-bit platform support, new SQL security functionality, a 100% compliant Windows Installer (MSI), integrated Data Dictionary File Builder (DDFB) and an updated .NET provider. New features like XIO allow applications to optimize on existing 32-bit technology for additional performance and memory extensions beyond the 2GB limit and support for dual and multi-core processors.
