• Tackling Big Data is a Big Job

  Tackling big data is not a job that is only going to be solved by programmers alone.  It’s going to be solved in concert with data scientists and analysts.  What tools exist for both programmers and non-programmers?   We love KNIME for this and we love DataRush for KNIME even more.  KNIME, an open-source data mining and visualization tool, allows users to visually create data flows, execute selected analysis steps, and later investigate the results through interactive views on data and models.  KNIME’s drag-and-drop interface gives non-programmers a chance to easily build work flows and store the analysis process for later expansion.  DataRush for KNIME allows big data analytics to be processed in a faction of the time without writing scripts.
